The Black Sonos PLAYBASE is the ideal way to get cinematic sound from your TV or high-quality music playback from your smartphone and other devices. The base has 10 built-in drivers, each with their own class-D digital amplifier, to add a new dimension to your viewing experience. The six mid-range drivers with three tweeters and a woofer provide deep bass, clear highs, crisp dialogue and wide sonic range to you in your movies, shows, sports and music. The Sonos PlayBase supports TVs weighing up to 77 lb.

 It has a simple setup with one cable for power and an optical cable to connect to your TV. The streaming is accomplished over Wi-Fi and is controlled by the free Sonos app for Android and iOS. It has an Ethernet port which gives the option for a wired connection to your home network.

MULTI-ROOM COMPATIBLE

The Playbase is multi-room enabled. It connects with Wi-Fi to other Sonos products, so you can connect it to other Sonos speakers you already own and start streaming music around your home.

SPEECH ENHANCEMENT

When turned on, the Speech Enhancement function reduces loud sound effects while maintaining dialogue volume.

NIGHT SOUND

The Night Sound function works at low volumes and boosts quiet sounds while reducing loud ones, for more even loudness without disturbing others.
